Why isn't Push pushing?
- You haven't bought it? If you have already purchased global push, please re-buy it with the same iTunes Account. Don't worry, you won't be charged again.
- Restart your device. Sometimes you just need to reconnect to the Apple push servers.
- Try turning on notifications in your iPhone Settings app.
- Just upgrade to a new device? Log out and back in. This will capture your new device token and get you pushin' real good.
- Try the 'Test Push Notification' button.
- Timeline won't be pushed to you, which means you need to have mentions or direct messages in your twitter account.
- Check your 'Quiet Period' settings.
How do I set my Quiet Period?
- If the time is not within the current " Quiet Period " time, TwitBird will not push messages to you. Please check your " Quiet Period " settings.
- Note
- If the start time is earlier than end time, the quiet period is within the same day.
- If the start time is later than the end time, the quiet period starts today and ends the next day.
Why no badge push?
- Sorry, we haven't implemented this feature, but we're working on it. Follow us on twitter to stay updated (link).
Why doesn't the 'Test Push Notification' (TPN) work?
- Maybe because the TPN only works when your twitter account has mentions.
Why am I getting a Device Token Error?
- Make sure your device isn't a jailbreak. Try restarting your device, as sometimes you just need to reconnect to the Apple push servers. If that doesn't work, Apple's push server might have problem.
Why Sandbox?
- This is a common error caused by an app called AppSync for those who jailbreak their device. Uninstall AppSync and TwitBird, reboot your device and re-download TwitBird.
